Brian Pilley rated this product on 03/24/11 Best putter from Pinemeadow so far. Great feel and at last those 3 to 3 foot puts are dropping. if you struggle with your current putter try one of these, simply brilliant.
Ron P. rated this product on 03/22/11 just received this putter, pulled out my putting carpet and the 1st 6 putts were spot-on from 6 ft. Great roll of the head and solid feel. PM did it again. Now I just have to wait till have this snowstorm gets thru, and I'll check it out better on the real greens.
Ron P. reviewed this product on 03/15/11 I just ordered this putter and it is being shipped as we speak. I'm excited to get it due partly to Clarence's review. My hands are small, so I stayed w/ the standard grip. But it is the sound that got me. Listening to the sound that is made by the new Taylormade Rossa Ghost putters on the PGA tour, and listening to the positive feedback from the pros, I'm hoping that sound from the Fantom putter gives the same results. when ordering online, people should do their homework. go to your local golf shop, find the brand name club that your looking at, and check it out. Of course it's always nice when you have a Pinemeadow retailer close by. And if you are making a major change in style, or options, than your current club(s), you have to expect to make proper adjustments in your game. The Pinemeadow people take pride in the satisfication of their customers. use the 30 day guarantee if you ned to, that is why they offer it.
Clarence rated this product on 03/01/11 Had a chance to get in a little practice with this putter over the past few days. My first impressions were: 1. The putter feels heavy 2. The putter grip is nice but a little to small for my hands (I currently use a large grip) 3. Very nice finish and craftmanship. The white finish is nice to look at against the green back ground. 4. Lining up the put was easy but because of the weight of the putter, I could not hit a consistently straight putt. 5. When putting, there is a tink like sound the putter makes upon impact. It sounds like you're hitting a basaball with an aluminum bat. The sounds is distracting and makes the putter feel cheap (I know, it's only $35). 6. The ball rolls really good off the face of the putter but the weight and sound requires you to make adjustments to your putting game. Over all, this is a decent putter but the weigghting and the balance of the head seems to be a little off. The sound at impact take some getting use to. The grip could be a little bigger which would give the putter a little better feel and control. I have several Pinemeadow woods, Hybrids and now two putters. I have been more than surprised and pleased with Pinemeadows clubs and I will continue to shop with them. However, for me, this club falls a little short.
C Wheeler rated this product on 02/21/11 Played with it for the first time last week-end. It is easy to line up as advertised. Ball comes off putter face cleanly and rolls w/o skid or skipping. Bottom line I sunk putts I had been missing with my Scotty Cameron.
